how will voting work

Public nominations for each of the carefully chosen award categories will be available via latexfashionawards.co.uk, ensuring that both well established brands and upcoming designers have the opportunity to be involved. This will provide The Latex Fashion Awards with a list of nominees from across the globe and in each prestigious category.

Nominations

Public nominations for each category will be available through this website, providing the opportunity for everyone in the community to be involved.

Collation

The nominees in each of the categories will be verified and collated before being added to our voting matrix and passed to our specially selected panel members.

Our panel of industry insiders, bringing together designers, brands and models will vote for their top five entrants in each category to decide the winner.

fan favourite

The culmination of all the categories will be the Fan Favourite, voted for by YOU, providing the chance for the public to choose their favourite celebrity latex outfit.

Nominations

    The Nomination Process

    1. Please choose the categories in which you wish to submit a nomination by selecting the checkboxes below. This will reveal the category information required, which should be completed
    2. If you would like to nominate in multiple categories, please select the checkbox next to each category and fill in the requested details
    3. If you wish to vote for multiple nominees, please submit multiple forms
    4. Fields with a * are required fields
    5. Once all fields have been completed, click the Submit button at the bottom of the form
    6. Submitting multiple nominations for the same individual or brand will not increase the likelihood of winning as this will be decided by our panel members
    7. Yes, you can vote for yourself! (as long as you or your brand relates to the category)

    Recognising the latex clothing brand which provides an online shopping experience comprising ease-of-use and navigation, searchability, accurate product descriptions, realistic images and quality of photography used and clarity of shipping costs and timeframes. Please note, online marketplaces such as Etsy or eBay will not eligible.

    Newcomer or Emerging Designer of the Year

    This award recognises stand-out new talent within the industry, highlighting newly launched latex clothing brands and designers who have impressed the most. To qualify, newcomer must have launched their brand within the past 18 months.

    Best New Collection

    Recognising the latex fashion designer who has been responsible for a recent stand-out new collection, continuing to display their talent or taking the industry in a new direction. New collection must have been launched within the last 18 months to qualify.

    Best Latex Fashion featured in a Movie, TV Series or Music Video

    Latex clothing is a familiar sight on the big screen, on television and within the music industry. This award recognises which latex designer helped to create the most striking or innovative use of latex for an onscreen outfit. To qualify, the chosen media must have been released in the last 18 months

    Best Latex Fashion Model of The Year

    Recognising the global impact of a latex fashion model, over the last 12 months, who has helped to raise the profile and influence of latex clothing.

    Best Masc-Style Designer of the Year

    Recognises a leading latex masc/menswear designer who has consistently made a global impact with their innovative and creative designs, shaping the burgeoning international latex clothing landscape.

    Best Femme-Style Designer of the Year

    Recognises a leading latex femme/womenswear designer who has consistently made a global impact with their innovative and creative designs, shaping the burgeoning international latex clothing landscape.

    Fan Favourite Award – Best Celebrity Latex Outfit Designer

    This award recognises the latex designer or brand which has helped your favourite celebrity to look their shiniest. Whether it’s your favourite celebrity gracing the red carpet for a movie premiere or awards shows, an appearance on a talk show, the newest product or magazine campaign, or maybe a contestant or judge wearing latex fashion on a talent show, what is your favourite celebrity latex outfit appearance over the past 18 months?
